About Heather

I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal and grow from life's challenges. I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment filled with opportunities to explore internal and relational dynamics. Together we look for practical interventions that can help you to reach your goals. However, practical interventions alone are not enough. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in the success of therapy. Transformational healing doesn't come because a person has the "right tools." It comes out of a relational experience that opens them to new perspectives and healing processes that they can interact and experiment with beyond the therapy room.

The therapeutic relationship is a resource that holds healing potential. In my work with people, I draw from a variety of theories, each one grounds and informs me in the relational work I engage in with my clients. Some of these theories include:

For individuals: Trauma focused, IFS, Polyvagal and Somatic Therapy, CBT, Narrative

For Couples: EFT, Gottman, Solution-Focused,

For Families: Contextual Family Therapy, Structural, and Bowen.

Drawing from these different modalities allows me the flexibility to offer personalized sessions that meet you where you are and promote healing and growth.
