Therapy is an investment in long-term well-being, not just symptom relief. The therapeutic relationship provides a nonjudgmental space where skills can be developed, insight can be discovered, and healing is nurtured. Through the therapeutic process you can receive support that strengthens your emotional health, relationships, and resilience. When you commit to the process, the overall benefits often extend far beyond the therapy room.

Sessions are $120 for 60 minutes. Payment can be made by cash or check. HSA and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment but require an additional 3% processing fee.
Heather does not accept insurance. However, she is able to provide you with a superbill, upon request, that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will want to check with your insurance company to find out what your out of network benefits are before submitting claims for reimbursement.
The decision to go this direction in her private practice came after much deliberation and lived experience. Ultimately, she chose a private-pay model to preserve clinical integrity, client confidentiality, and the flexibility needed to provide individualized, high-quality care. Insurance participation often requires disclosure of sensitive clinical information, imposes limitations on treatment length and modality, and adds significant administrative demands without guarantee of adequate compensation for services provided. A private-pay model allows her to focus fully on therapeutic work, offer specialized services, and collaborate with clients without third-party interference.
Heather understands that therapy is a costly investment. Her hearts desire is to remain accessible while at the same time providing high quality care with a special focus on trauma and trauma related issues. This tension along with the realization that paneling with insurance companies does not solve the problem at hand, it simply adds new ones, propelled her to form a nonprofit organization. That organization can be found here www.pathwaystograce.org
